Ballygarvan had a comprehensive win over Clonakilty in the Junior B football league in Clonakilty. After a slow start, and trailing Clon 1-1 to just a single point, Ballygarvan sprung into action with 2 quick points from Mark Kennefick and the equalising score from Donal Sweeney. After the equaliser, Ballygarvan stepped up a gear, and Clonakilty had no answer for the on fire Ballygarvan forwards. High praise must be given to the captain Michael Dowd on his own personal tally of three goals, the last a penalty in the last minute of the game.
