We would like to get team photos up on our Website and this is a good opportunity to get them taken.

* The third and final part of our Annual Draw will take place in the Club this Saturday Night. Can all ticket sellers please ensure that all outstanding monies due are collected so as to guarantee ticket holders entry into the final draw. * Its coming up to Christmas and I am sure we all have clothes that we do not need anymore. We currently need approximately 8 more bags of clothes which we can send away in order to boost club funds. Can we ask that all members have that pre-Christmas hoke and empty those drawers to make way for the new prezzies from Santa! Your assistance is always appreciated.

* Club gear is on sale at the club every evening from 8.30pm. There is a wide variety of gear from small children to adults size. So if you need a stocking filler for Christmas or something bigger then you will find something that suits your needs.

* Well it all kicked off on Saturday night past. The F-Factor for 2011 started in the Club. All week the town has been buzzing with film crews all of the amateur variety shooting their pre performance videos. Interviews and rehearsals have been going on all week and it hasn’t been without its tantrums from the Stars. Amy (Brannigan) and The Winos (Leanne & Maura) were all behaving like divas. It would have been ok if they were actually talented. One Division the new kids on the block were appearing for the first time in the competition. They wowed the judges. Helena Cairns had to be restrained when these guys performed. Medical help was at hand to calm her down. Gary – make sure she keeps taking the medication before the final! The boys made it to the final with ease. The Voice also made it through though a bitter break up with Danny C prior to the show made it an emotional performance for him. Garret we’re calling to say we love you! Danny C who appeared solo following the mid week break up has been delving in the world of aerobics – male aerobics that is!  Jim “I love to dance” Polin performed admirably. Girls will be after you! The 3 Jerks and a Squirt performance did not match their fantastic video. The fact that one group member forgot the words “we will rock you” raised a few eye brows. Come on lads four little words! The reigning champions the Dung Beatles seemed to have lost a little of last years’ sparkle. Perhaps they are more comfortable in ladies clothes, It’s not a shake-up they need it’s make-up. It is rumoured their saving it for the Grand Final. Niall Mac nearly made it through to the final. He received votes ok except he wasn’t there to perform. You’re a popular lad Niall. Simon is unhappy with the overall performances and is considering allowing a supergroup made up of past performers to try and up the ante in the grand Final. HT are you out there? Your club needs you. Thank you to all the acts who put so much time and effort into preparing for this event with their practice and the videos. You know what folks! They are going to do it all over again in the Grand Final on Saturday 17 December. Book your tickets early.

* Hurling – please note that the indoor underage hurling will re-commence on Thursday 5 January 2012 in St Malachy’s Primary School. A reminder will be issued nearer that time.

* A reminder that the Club website is now partially up and running. The website address is www.castlewellangac.com. You will be able to access the Weekly Notes under Latest News. This will also enable our members far and wide to access the goings on around the club.
