Castlewellan Scor Act through to All-Ireland Final

Scor Na Og Final Saturday 16th February
Congratulations and well done Orla McCrickard, Niall McCrickard and Eimear Walsh who made Club History comming 1st in the instrumental music section in the Ulster Final of Scor Na Og which was held on Saturday 19th January @ Galbally, Co Tyrone. (Castlewellan were the only Down competitors to qualify for the All-Ireland). This is Castlewellan’s 1st Ulster title in the history of this competition, so well done Orla Niall and Eimear.
Castlewellan and especially St Malachy’s GAC wish our young competitors all the best in the All-Ireland Final on Saturday 16th February. You have done your community and st Malachy’s GAC proud. The final will take place in Athlone and St Malachy’s GAC will provide a supporter’s bus for anyone wanting to go along and support our young musicians. Adm to the final is by ticket only and anyone wishing to purchase a tck must contact the Club Secretary before  Wednesday 23rd January. Tcks will not be available after that date.
