Rosemount and Tubber played a very entertaining game of football in O’Growney park Rosemount today which ended all square. Even with both sides short a number of regulars(not surprising on St Stephens day)this match attracted a large number of patrons who raise E1,734 for Charity .This year ‘s nominated charity was the ‘Caring for Kids Project’ which helps deprived children in Belarus,Ireland and Vietnam.Great credit was due to both sides which included Rosemount mentors Padraig Maxwell and David Keane . The final scor was 2.6 to 1.9 and while some people would say the referee lost his pen no one would dispute the spirit in which this annual event was played and well done to all concerned
