Juvenile Notes
At the recent AGM of Juvenile Club the following officers were elected for 2007:Chairman John Delaney, Secretary Mary Bourke, Treasurer Sinead Jones PRO Cecil Ryan, Board Delegate Connie Keating.
The adjourned AGM is to be held on Tuesday 19th December at 8.00 p.m. in the Clubroom, Lacken Park. All are welcome.
Charity Match
Newport GAA Club will host its annual charity fundraiser on New Years Day.This years game is between the team of 1996 vs the team of 2006. All are welcome to attend and we look forward to a great turn out and an intresting match.Throw in is 2.30pm. Also there will be the presentation of medals to the 2006 Intermediate Football players who regained the North title in October.

Newport GAA club would like to wish all players, team managers/selectors,club members, sponsors & supporters a very happy christmas & and a peaceful new year. We hope that 2007 will be another fantastic year for the club & that we get the same great support as we did in 2006.Thanks to The Guardian newspaper who have printed our club notes every week of the year and we look forward to working with them again in 2007.
