November 8, 2018

Clara won by 1-13 to 0-12, having led 0-8 to 0-5 at half time. Tullamore fought back to level at 0-11 each with just over ten minutes to go, but John Reynolds scored a goal to see them through. Tullamore and Shamrocks had claimed the first two slots in the semi-finals the previous evening.

In the first game at O’Connor Park on Saturday, Tullamore led Walsh Island by 0-11 to 0-2 at the interval, having been aided by a breeze. A William Mulhall goal midway through the second half cut the gap to just three points (0-12 to 1-6) but ‘The Blues’ finished strong to win with five to spare.

In the second part of the double-header, Ballycumber had the wind in their favour in the first half and led at the interval by 0-6 to 0-3. But Shamrocks took control in the second half and two P.J. Ward goals helped them to a 2-10 to 0-10.
