Clean up

November 8, 2018

Edenderry GAA wish to thank everyone who turned up to help the clean up efforts following the Easter Rising.

A great turnout of club committee, members and supporters turned out in the cold on Easter Sunday morning and faced into the huge task of restoring the clubhouse and grounds following the hugely successful Easter Rising the previous night.

Thanks to the efforts of everyone involved the Bingo & Lotto were able to proceed as normal later that evening.

A number of others including our FAS CE scheme workers were involved throughout the week in removing bottles, cans etc from a temporary dump site and brushing and washing the carpark which also doubles as the school playground.

As usual our volunteer ethos shone through during the busiest two week period in recent club history and shows yet again why GAA means ‘Greatest Amateur Association’
