November 8, 2018

Clonmore U-8s recently completed an unbeaten season by lifting the James Doyle cup. A run of 28 games ended with a hard fought A final win against Baltinglass 6pts-4pts.

Clonmore led 0-4to 0-1 at half time, Baltinglass hit back with 3 unanswered points early in the 2nd half to level the match, but points from Keith Bowes and Jake Hickey sealed a narrow win for the hosts. The cup was donated by the Doyle family in memory of James Doyle who was a founder member of Clonmore GFC in 1947.

Tullow lifted the shield as winners of the B final 7pts-4pts against Palatine.

Thanks to the parents who helped make this a successful day. Thanks to Baltinglass, Palatine and Tullow for taking part and making it a great day for all the players. And finally the club would like to thank all the parents for their support during the season.
