Great Win for the u14 boys

Thrills and excitement at Courthouse St. tonight as the U14 Boys overcame Greenway Utd 8-7 in a cracker. A Dominick Sweeney peno gave his side a 1-1 draw at the break and no one was ready for the avalance of goals in the second period. Fin Lacey and Aaron O’Boyle put the home side 3-1 but Greenway stormed back to go 4-3 up themselves. Aaron O Boyle then completed his hatrick to put his side into a

5-4 lead but back came the visitors again to go 6-5 ahead.Aaron grabbed another to level late on but Greenway looked to have snatched it when they nosed ahead 7-6 with 3 minutes remaining but Aaron leveled it again and in the last attack of the match Killala were awarded another Peno and Dom Sweeney finished as he started to make the final score 8-7. Heartbreak for the brave Greenway team but a great never say die attidude from the young Killala lads.
