The Kildysart Ladies U12 team had a great start to their championship campaign beating Kilrush B in the opener 2-5 to 1 point. The team travel to Labasheeda for round 2 on Thursday 30th May.
The Intermediates also faced Kilrush on Saturday but lost by 2 points in a tight match which saw the sides level 5 times.
The U12 team played their final in Cusack Park on Saturday and had a big win over Doonbeg 5-15 to 5 points. It was a fitting end to a fabulous season for the team.
This week’s action sees the U13’s in Round 2 of West Clare A Championship v Lissycasey on Tuesday (today) 28th May at home at 7pm. The U13’s had an easy win over Clondegad last week 05-11 to 03-05.
Kildysart U8’s host a blitz this Saturday for Clondegad, Gaels/Kilmihil and Lissycasey.
Congratulations to the Junior B team who have reached semi-final stage in the league and will do battle with Coolmeen next weekend.
