There are two big games on this weekend.
On Sunday September 23rd, Carbery Ranger's Senior Footballers  are playing Clonakilty in the Quarter Final of The Cork Senior  Football Championship, in Dunmanway  at 2-15pm
On Saturday, September  22nd  the Under 16's are playing Valley Rovers in the semi-final  of the Premier 2 U16 Football Championship in Clonakilty at 3pm.
Best of luck to both teams.


On Monday last the Minors played The Dohenys  away in The Premier 1 Football league and had a good win , Carbery Rangers 0-15 Doheny's 2-07

On Sunday The U12's had a outstanding game  with O Donovan Rossa in The Rebel Og  West  U12 Cup. Trailing at half time 1-05 to O' Donovan Rossa' s 4-06 ,Rangers played a tremendous second half and were 3 points up in injury time when the Skibb boys goaled to take the game to extra time, 5-11 each. There was nothing between  the teams in extra time but Skibb were the winners by a point 5-13 to 5-12. This was a great game of football and Rangers can be very proud of their performance,  particularly  in the second half.

The Coaches/ trainers of the Under 8's ran a very successful blitz last Saturday morning  in Ardagh with teams from Kilmacabea, Arigideen Rangers , St James's Gaa and Carbery Rangers taking part. Well done to All involved Big Congratulations to Niall Flavin, club player and selector on the minor team on his fantastic achievement in The Unlimited All Ireland Road Bowling Finals in Westport last week. Niall narrowly  lost the final by 20 yards. Well done Niall.
