GAA ORAL HISTORY PROJECT
The GAA Oral History Project is an opportunity to be involved in the largest sport’s history project in the world. Every club has its own unique stories, personalities and experiences and this project wants to make sure that our club’s history is recorded so that future generations will know the contribution that our club and individual members in our locality have made to the GAA and have your story preserved in the GAA Museum in Croke Park.

This is not just a story about the famous players and famous matches, but about the grassroots who are responsible for keeping the Association alive. This project aims to be a representative survey of attitudes to and experiences of the GAA among Irish people – be they good or bad.

To get involved, you can simply fill in the questionnaire which can be obtained from www.kingscourtstars.ie .You could maybe ask your teacher to do a class project or contact Niall Reilly if you can think of someone who you fell the club should contact in this regard.  For more details on this project you can contact the Project Team directly via www.gaahistory.com or give Arlene Crampsie a ring on 01-6147456.
