In a repeat of last year’s county final, the Seniors will face Cavan Gaels in the quarter finals of this year’s Senior Championship this Sunday evening in Kingspan Breffni Park at 8pm. While the lads turned in a great performance on Saturday with a 4-15 to 0-11 victory over Castlerahan, everyone is aware of the size of the task facing the side. The Juniors finished off their league campaign with a great victory away to Castlerahan by 5-14 to 3-9. They end the campaign in third place and comfortably through to the league semi finals. Of more importance is their own championship quarter-final when they face a trip to Virginia on Wed to play Ramor Utd for a place in the final four. The Minors are just sixty minutes away from a Championship Final but face a tricky task in getting any further. After a slow start against St. Josephs last week they eventually won through by 1-20 to 0-10 and they know face Eire Og Celtics on Tuesday 23rd August at 7.15pm in Stradone. The club is delighted to announce that a new batch of club merchandise are now directly from the club at little more than cost price. The options include replica jerseys, polo shirts, jackets, training tops and hats. Images of all the gear are already up on www.kingscourtstars.ie and the option to buy online should be available shortly. The winning numbers in last week’s lotto were 12, 13, 15 & 18 (Bonus 24). There was no Jackpot winner but the four Match 3’s won €50 each. Next week’s jackpot will be €8,000 and the draw will take place on Sunday 21st August in The Wishing Well The Juvenile Club’s annual fundraiser is upon us again with the usual fantastic 1st prize of two tickets to the All-Ireland Football Final along with overnight accommodation and spending money. Plenty of runner up prizes also. Tickets are just €10 and are available from all committee members so please support the great work of the juvenile club if you can and purchase a tickets or two. Those blitzes don’t run themselves you know…..

SENIORS
Based on recent form a huge improvement will be needed both on and off the pitch. So, as the players do their bit to prepare we would ask that as many people as possible get to the match as and support the team as we try and re-create the atmosphere of last year’s County Final.
Yes I know it’s 8pm on a Sunday evening and it’s not ideal for everyone but get the cows milked, the kids fed and the work clothes ironed and throw everyone in the car and off to Breffni. It’s not a school night of let the kids stay up late just one more time before the end of the holidays and go and shout your heart out cheering on the Stars…..
