U-21’S
Hard Luck to all involved with the Cavan U-21’s at the weekend, unfortunately it was just one of those days…. However,  it was a great journey along the way and a measure of how far the side has come that we were so disappointed by getting beaten in an All-Ireland Final in Croker Park!

The players and management team should take immense pride in the huge boost that they have given to the GAA and the County in general over the past two months and hopefully the lads will get over this and build on what has been achieved in the coming months and years.

SENIORS & JUNIORS
The Seniors will be looking to bounce back from their loss to Killeshandra when they start of a run of five matches in 21 days away to Killygarry on Sunday 8th @ 3.30pm.  After that they are away to Redhills on Saturday 14th @ 7.30pm. The Juniors gained a hard won point last Friday night with a 0-18 to 3-9 draw away to Gowna to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.  Next up, they will join the Seniors in a trip to Killygarry on Sunday 8th @ 2pm.

MINORS
The Minors are through to the Division One League Final after a thrilling League Semi Final victory over St. Josephs.  With the sides level at fulltime, extra time had to be played and at the end there was the minimum between them but the young Stars made it through by 3-12 to 1-17.   A hard-fought victory by the lads and while not at their best, they kept playing until the final whistle and that spirit along with an inspired goal-keeping performance by Shay Rooney (including a penalty save) got them over the winning line.  They will now face Crosserlough in the Final this Saturday (7th) with time & venue yet to be confirmed so keep an eye on www.kingscourtstars.ie for updates.

UNDERAGE
The 16s road trips continued last week with a trek to table-toppers Templeport.  Despite the distance, the lads put in a great performance and just narrowly missed out by 2-12 to 2-9. They head to Redbridge tonight (3rd ) before finishing their campaign with two home matches.  The 14s gained a superb victory at home to Ramor Utd last week with a 4-11 to 2-16 win last Thursday.  This week they head to Ballinagh on the 5th.  The 12s have a little break until the 9th May when they host Cuchullainns.

The Girls U-14’s had a great week with two away victories. First up they went to Killinkere last Friday and got a 2-9 to 3-3 win and then they followed that up with a trip to Mullagh last night (Monday) and made it three in a row for the season with a 2-9 to 2-2 win. They look well worth following this year but I don’t have any details of their next game yet.
