SENIORS & JUNIORS
The pre-season plans continued at the weekend with a host of challenge matches. The Seniors recorded victories over Magheracloone and Carrickmacross while the Juniors played out a competitive draw against Mountnugent. Training continues on Tuesday with the Seniors away to Simonstown for another challenge match on Thursday night.
After that it will be full focus on the start of the league, with the Seniors home to Ballinagh on Sat 3rd April @ 6pm and the Junior home to Shannon Gaels on Sun 4th @ 2pm. A full schedule of both sides league fixtures are available here and here
U-21’s
Best of luck to the Cavan U-21’s in their championship opener against Down on Wednesday night @ 8pm in Kingspan Breffni Park. The club is very well represented with Shane Gray, Colm Smith & Barry Reilly all on the panel. We wish the lads and all the players and management the best of luck and encourage all club members to go and support the side if you can.
MINORS
The Minors gained their second league win at the weekend with a 7-17 to 1-8 victory away to Crosserlough on Sunday morning. After a couple of narrow defeats, the side was back at full strength and put in a great team performance with nine different scorers and a superb 4-7 (4-5 from play from Joe Dillon).
Next game up is on Easter Monday at home to St. Finbarr’s @ 2pm. This game will decide whether the side is battling for the play-offs or relegation on the final week. This division is very tight and all support for the lads is appreciated.

Stars TV is proving very popular with the recent addition of the classic 1990 Senior Ulster Semi v St Galls. However, we are now looking at moving things along, and are looking at streaming live matches on the site.
There are a number of technical issues to overcome however what we are looking for is a commentator and possibly a cameraman or photographer. So, if you are connected to the club, or even if your not, but have an interest in cameras or would like to try your hand at commentary, why not e-mail us on info@kingscourtstars.ie or ring Niall on 086 8237382. Remember age is not an issue, so no matter how old or young you are, give us a shout, or get your parent to get in contact or more details.
