PHIL SMITH

There was a sizable club contingent at this week’s County Board Convention as the occasion marked the end of clubman,  Phil Smith’s, period as County Chairman.

The Kingscourt Stars club would like to thank  and congratulate Phil on his completion of a very successful tenure manning the helm of the Cavan County Board as its Chairman. Phil always represents the club with distinction and with pride, and in so doing, served his county tirelessly, with no task too great, or too little. Kingscourt Stars are extremely proud of him. CLUB WEBSITE

As you will probably be aware the re-launched website has proved very popular over the past seven months. With over 60 different matches from all grades from 2009 alone, as well as historic pieces and galleries of over 1,000 pictures.

This week sees the continuation of our best sports clips section which involves some notable sideline kicks to name but one area.  We also have some pictures from the Seniors trip to Dublin, and not a pair of boots or togs in sight…

Another addition to look out for will be the option of paying your club membership online.  This feature will be available later this month, so keep your eyes peeled onto www.kingscourtstars.ie for all the latest developments.
