SENIORS

The Seniors played their final league match away to Cootehill on Sunday and finished the season with another resounding victory by 2-12 to 0-4.  For a report on this match please click here.

The league season proper is over and the Seniors completed it undefeated, with only a late Ballyhaise equaliser way back on a cold, windswept March evening denying the side a 100% record.  A phenomenal achievement by all associated with the team and a points difference of +128 from just 13 games has got to be some sort of a record!

Despite the undefeated campaign and having already secured promotion and top spot, the Division Two silverware is still up for grabs.  First up is the semi-final against Ballyhaise or Cootehill who play this coming weekend, however with the U-21 Championship on the 8th November, it would look like mid November at the earliest before this game will be played, depending on how both sides progress in the U-21 championship first.  Keep an eye on www.kingscourtstars.ie for confirmation of when the semi will take place

U-21’s

The U-21’s are continuing their championship preparations in advance of their 1st round match and take on Shercock tonight (Tuesday) down the park at 8.30pm.  They then host Redbridge on Sunday 8th November at 1pm in the 1st round of the championship.  If they manage to be successful in that, they will face an away quarter-final against Lacken or Castlerahan on the following weekend.
