SENIORS

The Seniors continued their preparation for the championship quarter-final with a victory in the Rooney Cup Semi-Final over Glyde Rangers.  The will now face Crossmaglen in the final on Friday 15th August at 7.45pm in Carrickmacross.  After last week’s lacklustre victory over St. Michael’s, this run in with the Ulster kingpins should ensure a great test.

JUNIORS

The Juniors continued their preparation for the championship with two victories in the league over Drumlane and Drumalee respectively.  First up they hosted Drumlane and despite the concession of two soft goals in the first half that ground out a 1-9 to 2-3 victory.

Last night they made the trip to Drumalee and edged a victory by 0-13 to 0-11. Their final league match will be at home to Lacken on Sunday 24th August at 12.30pm.

MINORS

Minors will at long last resume league matters with a trip to Cavan Gaels at 7pm this Friday (15th).  Their final match will be at home to Killan Gaels on Friday 22nd August at 7pm also.  That’s assuming there are no further changes, which is a fairly big assumption to make in fairness!!

U-16’s

After narrowly missing out on the league final, the 16’s will be hoping to get a good championship run.  However their championship opener against the winners of Redbridge/Killinkere has, wait for it, been postponed!!
