The Seniors open their championship campaign this weekend with a visit to Virginia on Saturday at 7.30pm where they face Castlerahan.  Both sides have had disappointing league campaigns but all that will be forgotten come Saturday.  This is the game that both sets of players will have been focusing on for the past six months

There is no doubt this will be a he test for our lads and we will be big underdogs to come out on top.  However, despite recent form, the hope remains that the championship will bring out the best in our players and supporters alike.

We would ask everyone to make a huge effort to make the short trip over to Virginia to lend your support and get behind the Stars.

The U-16’s faced Gowna last Friday night in the league semi final.  On a dreadful night a tight game was always on the cards.  Despite the best of the opening half, we only lead 0-4 to 0-3 at halftime.  An early goal from Gowna in the second half meant we were then chasing the game and despite replying well we just came up short, losing 1-7 to 1-5.
