Another disappointing outing from the Senior side last weekend with a 3-9 to 0-9 home defeat to Ramor Utd. In the space of a month we have gone from looking for promotion to looking over our shoulder.  We now have a break before we enter our final league matches and hopefully before then some form can be found.
The Juniors make a trip to face Castlerahan on Sat at 7pm in Division 4.  The first of three matches within a short period, the juniors will be hoping to avail of the absence of a Senior game which should strengthen their side.
The U-12’s were away to Laragh Utd on Wednesday in the Leaguer Quarter-Final.  A thrilling match was played out that finished level at 1-7 at fulltime.  Extra-time was played and an injury time goal from Sean Burke gave them a dramatic 2-8 to 1-9 victory
A super victory from the young lads and they are out again in the semi-final on Friday (6th) in Drumalee against Crosserlough at 7.30pm.  Best of luck to the young Stars again.
The U-10’s take part in the Newry blitz on Saturday (7th).
The website continues to be updated and we would encourage people to use the guestbook option so that your views on the website, the teams and the club in general can be listened too.  Next week we hope to have the first of our classic matchs clips.  This will start with the 1990 County Final victory over Mullahoran and will feature among others some classic action from Jim Reilly and Joe Dillon and some tackling that would leave the Aussies cowering!  Trust me, not to be missed
