–Athy GFC AGM was held lst Sunday 7th Dec. and two motions were passed:
(i) Only paid up members are eligible to represent the club at all levels.
(ii) Only vouched expenditure for physiotherapy will be reimbursed by the club.
–Congratulations to Marty McEvoy, Con Ronan and TJ Clare who were announced as Kildare’s central council delegate, treasurer and u/21 representative respectively at the county convention last weekend.
–Congratulations to Athy u/15’s on beating Kill in the league semi-final last Sunday by 3-8 to 0-8. They will contest the final this weekend.
–The Christmas draw will be held in the clubhouse on Saturday 20th December.
—Athy GFC annual dinner dance will be held in the Clanard Court Hotel on Saturday 17th January 2009.
— The new club shop will be open every Saturday from 11am – 1pm selling all club gear, in dressing room 1.
