NEW RECORD FOR THE CROTTA LOTTO JACKPOT:
The Jackpot in the Crotta Hurling Club weekly Lotto has risen to a new record figure of 13,700, which  has been rolling over since Monday 25th August 2008. Abbeydorney Postmaster Frank O’Donovan was winner of the clubs biggest lotto jackpot ever of 13,600, when his numbers of 3,5,7 and 11 were drawn out by  Independent Observer, Eileen Brennan, Rae, Kilflynn on 18th August 2008 in Parkers Pub. The four numbers picked out of the drum by Independent Observer, Christy O‘Connell, Ballyrehan, Lixnaw, for this week’s Lotto Jackpot of €13,600, on Monday night, 15th  November in Herbert‘s Bar, Kilflynn were: 1,21, 22 and 26. However no one came up with the correct combination of numbers and the Jackpot survived for another week. The Lucky dip prizes winner each receives €35:Jimmy Harris, C/o Gala Shop, Kilflynn, Helena Brennan, Knocknacaska, Kilflynn, Rose and Tom Dillon, St.Brendan’s Park, Tralee. Elaine O’Sullivan, Clahane, Tralee was drawn out for the Christmas draw.
The next draw will take place in Parker‘s Pub, Kilflynn on Monday 22nd November, with a Jackpot of 13,700.
Christmas Draw: One ticket will be drawn on Monday night 22nd and 29th November and 6th December at the lotto draw , For the Christmas draw in Herbert’s bar on Monday 13th December. First Prize €500, Second €300,Third Prize €200 and Fourth Prize €100.

NORTH KERRY HURLING SCOR NA NOG.
The North Kerry hurling Scor Na Nog competitions were held in the ceolann Lixnaw last Wednesday night Nov 10th. Crotta O Neills were represented in the ceol uirlise [ Instrumental music] and trath na gCeisteanna [ question time]. The instrumental music group won 1st place on the night and now go forward to the county semi finals in Abbeydorney on Friday 19th November. The group members are Sinead O Sullivan, Brid O Sullivan, Aoife Mahony, Barry Mahony and Padraig Shanahan. The trath na gCeisteanna team did very well and came 2nd place. The team members were Raymond Nolan, Jordan Conway and Aoife Mahony. The club would like to thank these young people for their participation in representing their hurling club and wish the instrumental music group the best of luck on Friday night in Abbeydorney.
WINNING STREAK:
Best wishes to Tom Dillon, St. Brendans Park, Tralee who is contestant on  Winning streak game show on Saturday night 20th November on R.T.E 1 at 8.10 p.m. Tom is Joint Treasurer of St. Senan’s Football Club and Seceretary of the North Kerry Football board. Tom won lucky dip prizes in the St. Senan’s and Crotta lotto draws on 14th and 15th November, so he is on a winning streak, Spin the wheel Tom.

NORTH KERRY AWARDS
The North Kerry Hurling Board Annual Awards night will take place at Ballyroe Heights Hotel on this Friday, 19th November, commencing at 8.00p.m.
Player of Match Awards for each of the 9 underage Finals from 2010 will be were presented. The above were chosen by an independent panel of judges at each of the Finals
In addition a Special Merit Award will be presented while grants to the value of €8,000 from the North Kerry Board will be presented to clubs for field development.
CHRISTMAS PARTY NIGHT
The Annual Christmas Party Night on Friday 3rd December in Ballyroe Heights Hotel, Tralee. Four course meal only 25 euro. Plus Music on the night by Declan Aungier. Tickets cost 25 euro. TABLE QUIZ:
A fundraising Quiz will be held in Jesse James Tavern ,Asdee on Friday night Nov. 19th starting at 9pm sharp. This event is been run to help with the distribution costs of the Shoeboxes that have been generously donated by many many caring people in Kerry. These Shoeboxes will bring lots of joy to all the children who will receive them this Christmas. On Friday night we have lots of spot prizes . Our Quizmaster is the one and only Mr. Tom Gorman, Tables cost 20euro. Come along and have a fun night out while supporting a worthy cause.
