COUNTY SENIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP:
CROTTA Senior hurlers staged one of the most sensational come backs ever in county senior hurling championship history at Austin Stack Park Tralee on Sunday after noon 25th July. Crotta came from being 11 points down at the interval break  405 to 006 to beat a gallant Causeway side by four points in extraordinary A.I.B County Championship first round game, Crotta now meet reigning county champions Kilmoyley in the next round. Well done to the lads in green and red who showed great  spirit in the second half , Also to the Crotta mentors, Paul Shanahan Trainer  and selectors John Shanahan and Padraig Cronin who made vital switches during the game.

We wish Causeway player Muiris Delaney a speedy recovery who sustained leg injury during the game.
In the other games played in the 1st round of the Championship on  Friday night, Ballyduff defeated Lixnaw  016 to 012 ,Kilmoyley had a victory over Abbeydorney 108 to 015  And Ardfert overcame Ballyheigue by 116 to 108.

The Crotta and Ballyduff Senior hurlers  will contest the North Kerry League Final on Friday 31st July at 7.30p.m in Ballyduff. Best of luck to the Crotta senior hurlers.
COUNTY MINOR TITLE FOR MINOR HURLERS:
Congratulations to  Crotta/ Lixnaw minor hurlers who captured the County Minor league Division 1 title  with 313 to 109 victory over a gallant Causeway side played in Abbeydorney on Monday night 26th July
The Crotta hurling was represented on the team by Tom Quille, Maurice McElligott, Tom B Mc Elligott, Sean Weir, Darragh Mc Auliffe and Jason Nolan.
CAMOGIE REUNION:
Camogie Players of the 60‘s and 70‘s have arranged a reunion for Friday night 13th August 2010. We will meet at O’Donnell’s, Mounthawk, Tralee at 8 p.m. on the night.
CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS:
The four numbers picked out of the drum by Independent Observer : Grainne Herbert, Kilflynn for This week’s Club Lotto Jackpot of �12,000, on Monday night, 26th July  in Herbert�s Bar, Kilflynn were: 5,13, 21 and 27. However no one came up with the correct combination of numbers and the Jackpot survived for another week. KERRY MINOR HURLERS:
The Kerry Minor hurling team begin their All Ireland B Campaign in The All Ireland Quarter finals when they play Kildare in Newbridge at 3.30pm on Saturday 7th August.
SILVERWARE FOR CROTTA U-21 HURLERS
Well done and Congratulations to Crotta u-21 hurlers who captured the Paddy Kelly Perpetual Cup when they defeated Kilmoyley on a score of 411 to  37 in the North Kerry Under 21 Championship Final On Monday, 19th July, at Abbeydorney. Crotta were ahead by 106 to 105 at half time. After the game Joe Walsh Vice Chairman of the North Kerry Hurling board together with members of the Kelly family presented the new Paddy Kelly Perpetual Cup  victories Crotta captain Darren Twomey.
 Well done to trainer Paul Shanahan and all mentors involved in training and selecting the team.
