Carbery Rangers are out of the Senior Football Championship after a three point victory for St Finbarr's on Sunday last in Páirc Uí Chaoimh in the semi-final. Full Time score  Carbery Rangers 0-12 St Finbarr's 0-15.
At half time Rangers were in a comfortable position 0-08 to 0-04 ahead , having played against a substantial wind and the Barrs were struggling to cope with Rangers dominance. But it was a game of two halves and on the resumption it was St Finbarr's who assumed control and at the end of the third quarter the sides were level 10 points each. The Barrs went ahead but John Hayes levelled from a free. Once again St Finbarr's went ahead ,this time by 2 points before Mark Hodnett pulled one back but St Finbarr's got 2 more points to win 0-15 to 0-12.
