Last week the Annual 6-Aside Soccer Blitz was held at the Tech Field.
Ten teams of ten players turned out for the event. After a long day of football last years champions Millipore beat Timmy O’Sheas team in the final 2 goals to nil.
Presentations were made in Gilmores bar at 7 o’clock where everyone joined in the festivities to cap a great day.
The next event is the annual Golf Classic which will be held at the Cobh Golf Club on THursday 24th July. €45 for a team of 3 to enter – the time sheet s available at the Cobh Golf Club. All players are welcome no matter how good or bad you might be. Sponsor’s for tees boxes are also wanted – contact any Committee member.
Training for new season begins Tuesday 15th July for both the Senior and Junior teams. Best of lucky to everyone for the new season.
