Well done to our U21 team who qualified for their third A Championship final in a row when defeating Mostrim on a scoreline of 1 – 09 to 0 – 06 in the semi final replay on Sunday last at Pearse Park. This was a much improved performance and we now face the tough challenge of Abbeylara in the final next Sunday in Pearse Park at 1pm and a big turnout of supporters would be appreciated. We hope both John and Donal Sheridan recover from their injuries sustained in last weekends match. Tickets for our development draw are currently on sale from any club executive or member, cost €50 with a prize fund of €30,000, this draw is to fund the development of our centre of excellence which will be build adjacent to our current facilities and will be a focal point for the youth of the surrounding areas containing such facilities as a youth café, gym facility and Astroturf pitches to name just a few. All our ticket sellers need to get out and put a big push on for the next two weeks as the draw takes place on Dec 30th at our Christmas Dance in the Breffni Arms music by Heart Strings.
