Club Notes

November 8, 2018

Annual Dinner Dance.

This year’s Dinner Dance will be held in the Park Inn Hotel on Friday week 16th November.  Tickets are available from Thomas Hamill and other committee members.

Ladies Football

The ladies were very pleased with the support they received on Sunday for their dander up Sliabh Gullion. Some 40 climbers made the ascent ably guided by Tom McKenna to whom they express their gratitude. They were especially glad of his expert knowledge and advice when the mist fell as they reached the top. Everyone enjoyed the challenge and were glad they had made the effort.

Anyone with money and cards outstanding are asked to return them as soon as possible.

Armagh County Ladies Dinner Dance

This year’s dinner dance will be held in the Carrickdale Hotel on Friday 9th November. All wishing to buy tickets for this important event in the County calendar can do so by contacting Kieran Murphy at 30861045.

Lotto

Last week’s numbers were 4, 7, 22 and 28. Although the jackpot was not won there were eleven match three winners and this week’s jackpot will be £10,200 or €15,300.

New Lotto format

This Monday night’s draw will take place as usual, but when you do your numbers for next week’s draw you will notice a major change in the way in which the Lotto will be done for the foreseeable future.

You will still pick and mark 4 numbers, but you will also have the opportunity to choose a BONUS number as well that brings with it a bonus prize of £10,000. The jackpot will continue as before, with £200/€300 being added each week until we have a winner. Should that winner also have picked the Bonus number they will be entitled to the bonus prize.

There will no longer be match three winners, but instead we will have a lucky dip each week for everyone who has played and four prizes: (1) £100, (2) £50, (3) £25, (4) £25 for these winners.  There will also be two sellers’ prizes of £25 every week.
