JUNIORS:
Elphin had a good win against St Josephs in the Junior championship last Sunday in Kilbride. Elphin got off to a slow start and found themselves down 0-03 after 10 minutes. With Dermot Neary being moved to midfield, John Conroy going to centre half forward, and the introduction of Martin Travers in defence Elphin found their way and went in at half time level 0-4 each. Elphin made a rapid start in Second half with a well taken Matthew Hynes goal and quickly followed this with 2 points. Elphin found themselves 5 points up after 10 minutes and with St. Josephs down to 14 men Elphin took control until the finish. Final score Elphin 1-09 St. Joseph`s 0-06.
