Club Notes

November 8, 2018

The Club held a Community Forum last Friday evening as part of the plans to prepare our five year strategic plan. We would like to thank everyone who both arranged and attended the night especially the large section of people who attended who had no previous connection with the club
The benefits of the strategic plan for both club and community were discussed and will be seriously considered before the final plan is completed. The areas of discussion were Games Development, Ground Development, Communications, Finance and Youth Development and the various sub-committees on these groups will meet this week to progress matters with the Strategic Plan due to be launched next month.
The Club would like to extend a big welcome to Ciaran Quinn who was appointed our new Senior Team Manager last week. Ciaran, who is from the Cullaville Blues Club in Armagh, was with St Malachy’s in Louth last year, and will bring a new approach to the club as we look to defend our Senior Championship title.
We wish Ciaran, his selectors and all the players the very best of luck in 2011 and can assure him he will have the full support of all the club behind him in his efforts to achieve success throughout the year.
The new 2011 club calendar is still available from Niall Reilly and local shops such as Pat Faulkner’s, M&F’s, Robbie O’Connell’s, Pat’s Shop and McNally’s Pharmacy for just €10 or €15 for two.
The Club Dinner Dance is on Friday 11th February 2011 and will take place in The Bailie Hotel. Tickets are €35 and are available from the usual suspects! The 2010 Senior Championship medals will be presented on the night and music is by
The Texas Wildcats.
The winning numbers in this week’s lotto were 03, 09, 12 & 14 (Bonus 28). There was no jackpot winner but after a couple of blank weekends, this week saw five Match 3’s who won €120 each.
Next week’s draws take place in Dún A Rí House on Sunday 23rd January and the jackpot will be €6,800 (€11,800 including the bonus).

The Level One Training Course being ran by the club was been re-arranged.  It will now take place on the last two Fridays & Saturdays in February ( 18th, 19th, 25th & 26th) in the Community Centre. If anyone was any queries on it, you can contact James Brown on 086 8640380
