An understrength senior team lost to Kilmore, in Kilmore on Sunday. Elphin should have had a bigger lead at the break leading 0-04 to 0-02. Kilmore levelled early in the 2nd half and the score remained close until with 5 minutes remaining they scored their 1st goal to go 4 clear. This was quickly followed by a 2nd killer goal to leave no doubt about the result. Final scoreline 2-08 to 0-06. See website for Team.

Our Junior team is due to play its first game of the year in Kilglass next Saturday at 4pm. All eligible players are asked to be there.

Our Minors are also due to begin their season with an away game against St. Barrys in Tarmonbarry at 12.30pm next Sunday.

Congratulations to Colm Beirne, Paddy Farrell, Michael Gunn & Michael Rock who won the County Seachtain na Gaeilge Table Quiz last Wednesday. They, along with runners-up Clann na nGael and Kilglass Gaels, now go on to represent the County in the Connacht Final on March 10th.
