Club Notes 21st Oct 2016

November 7, 2018

Very hard luck to our Seniors last Sat when they came so close to getting to a County Final, kick of a ball that went into the side netting, and we were through.

Congrats to Jonny Quigley & Fionn Reilly on making Hoganstand's Team of the Week -> http://www.hoganstand.com/meath/ArticleForm.aspx?ID=262278

Our Club is partaking in the Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town Expo which is returning to Kells from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday November 5th in the Headfort Arms. Various planned activities will take place over the weekend and will aim to promote and drive momentum for SMEs in the locality while showcasing all that the town has to offer. The event will include a Business Expo, a Sports & Community Expo and a Food Expo that will include a talk by Celebrity Chef Rachel Allen. The event will also include lots of entertainment and a raffle for many spot prizes, including 2 Ireland International Rugby Tickets. Proceeds from the raffle will be matched by Bank of Ireland and donated to local mental health charity SoSad on the day. Admission to the event is free. Not to be outdone, AIB has a great new promotion that could be hugely beneficial to your club. Simply put, when a person switches or purchases a new AIB Home Insurance policy, the club they nominate receives €50. So, that could mean €500 for every 10 policy nominations your club receives.

And here’s all your club members and supporters have to do:

1. Purchase a new home insurance policy in branch, online or by phone.

2. Complete the ‘Reward my Club’ form online at www.aib.ie/gaainsurance.

There is no money limit per club – so the more €50 nominations you receive the better!

Payments to clubs will take place from March 2017 with only those policies that have remained active for three months or more qualifying for the payment.

It’s a simple promotion that not only helps your supporters insure their homes, but helps them support the future of their club.
