Best of Luck to our Adult Hurling Teams who are in Championship action this week.  The Seniors are out on  Thursday 24th in O’Toole park at 7pm, Inters at home on Saturday 6.30pm and the Juniors at the same venue on Sunday 12pm.

 

Congratulations to Emmet O’Conghaile and the Dublin U21 footballers on reaching the All-Ireland Final.

 

The week of the 28th sees the start of the football championship and the next round of league games.  Both our junior sides are at home on the 29th April and the 1st May at 7pm.  The Senior footballers are in League action against Erins Isle on Wed 30th.  See the website for full details.

 

Next Saturday 26th will be an exciting day for our Club as we open our new Club Shop stocked with the latest range of Lucan Sarsfield’s playing and leisure wear.  The on-line version is already live and can be accessed in one click from the website.

The Golf Society’s first outing takes place at Knockanalley Golf Club on Saturday next starting at 10am. If you have not already booked in you can do so now by calling Gerry at 0860560111.

 

 

25 Card Drive every Friday night at 9pm in the Clubhouse Bar – all welcome. €5 entry with €50 1st prize.

 

Set Dancing classes every Wednesday @ 8.30pm

 

Strictly Sarsfields comes to lucan. Expect glamour, fancy footwork and lots of laughs at the Lucan Sarsfields fundraising event in Westmanstown on Sat May 3rd.

The fundraisers are in full swing.  This Wednesday there is a 25 Card drive in the Bar, while Look Who’s Cooking will take place in the Function room.  The U10s have an Easter Hamper and Dublin Jersey for raffle in the Bar in support of Maggie Mulqueen.  Donal Moynihan has a Book Bring and Swap event on Thursday.  The Senior Footballers are holding a race night on Sat 26th April, in support of Carol Gallagher’s campaign, with D.J Al Curtis on the Mic.  Jenny Costello is conducting a Nursery Skills Day for girls on Sat 26th, plenty of spot prizes and fun promised.  Kenny Wade is holding a FootGolf competition also on the 26th.  May 3rd gets underway with a Duck race in aid of Stiofan’s fund. Please get behind these events and take advantage of the stretch in the evenings!

Our nurseries continue every Saturday from 1.30pm at the Clubhouse.  New players are always welcome and registration is just €10 for both Hurling and Football.  This is your chance to participate in a training session led by Dublin Hurling Captain Johnny McCaffrey.  Each week over 150 boys and girls practice their skills and improve their overall physical well being in a safe and controlled environment on our purpose built all weather facility.  Check out our website for more details.

 

There was no winner of Sunday night’s €10,000  Lotto. The unlucky numbers were 1, 20, 22, 23. This weeks lotto is for a jackpot of  €10,500 sponsored by John Ryan Accountant and Hugh McGonigle is in charge of proceedings.
