Caman Abu

Well done to all our participants last Tuesday evening in Carriganore. By all account, Balllyduff were well represented with our team of 10. It’s on again next Tuesday 29th Oct at 7.30 and is open to men and woman, members and non members 17yrs and upwards.

U11 Hurling

Our U11s had an end of season floodlit match in Carriganore on Friday evening 25th Oct against Portlaw. The lads did well in the first half with the scores level at half time but Portlaw finished stronger in the 2nd half.

U9 Hurling & Football

Our U9s travelled to Kill on Saturday morning 26th Oct to take on neighbours St Mary’s in a hurling and football double bill. Well done to both teams who showed great committment in very cold conditions to entertain the large attendance with good quality skills and plenty of endeavour. Our lads managed to finish ahead in both games.

U16 Football

Fixture for the u16 Football 1st playoff game. Kilmac (Ballyduff) v Clashmore in Dungarvan club ground on Bank Holiday monday at 12.00.

Derek McGrath

Congratulations to Derek McGrath on his appointment as Waterford hurling manager. All at Ballyduff Lower GAA wish him and his team all the best over the next few years.

Over the winter months we are looking to feature some of the historic events in our clubs history on our website and facebook. So if you have any old pictures or news paper articles please e mail them to us at secretary.ballydufflower.waterford@gaa.ie and we will gather some of the stories around those events and post them.

AGM

It’s that time of year again. AGM is approaching fast. This year we are fixing it for Friday November 22nd in the Hall in Ballyduff at 7.30. This is a public meeting and is open to everyone. Please feel free to come along on the night.
