Under 10s
In the North Westmeath League, Team Amber overcame the challenge of St Pauls on Tuesday evening last in The Downs. Full credit to both teams for providing a very entertaining 40 minutes of football. On Saturday morning last Molloy Park was awash once again with under 8 and under 10 footballers for a Mullingar Area League fixture versus Shandonagh. 6 matches were played in all involving close to 100 young footballers which was a tremendous sight in front of the new stand.
The under 10 panel (all players) travel to Longford Slashers on this Saturday for a mini-blitz versus the home side. The club are providing a bus which will depart The Downs at 945am and should arrive back no later than 2pm. Please reply to text message which will issue during the week. Parents / Guardians are welcome to travel on the bus subject to availability – contact Marc to reserve additional places 087 8362297.
