Club Notes - 8th December

Celebrity Bainisteoir
This weekend the club makes its way to Ireland, Maryland Westmeath to take part in the Christmas special of celebrity Bainisteoir. After weeks of preparation the boys team up with mentor Patrick Keilty in a one off game against the defending champions Maryland and their manager RTE’s Marty Whelan. The excitement and the anticipation around the club over the last month has been great and we are hoping to have a lot of support from past players making their way to the game from all over Ireland. The recording of the programme will be shown over the Christmas period, the date and time will appear in next weeks notes.

London Ladies V Underdogs

Well done to London Ladies on winning a fantastic game of football on Saturday against the Underdogs, it was a great display for many of the young girls who were in attendance to watch the game it gives them a great goal to aim for in future years. Before the match there was an U14’s girl’s tournament and the Gaels girls were out in force and performed well winning 2 of their 3 games. Also many of the girls were then picked to represent London U16’s in a game against Warwickshire which London went onto win. Many thanks to Yvonne Morley and Karen Togher for arranging the girls tournaments a lot of hard work went into organising the day well done. Father Christmas
Please remember Father Christmas will be visiting the Gaels next Sunday 14th December from 2.00pm please come along.
