ORCHARD PARK:
The Orchard Park pitch is currently undergoing repair work. This includes sanding, verti draining, resodding, reseeding and fertilising. The pitch is unavailable for use until early April as time is needed for the new sod to settle in.

Double Scòr Success for Elphin:

It was a night of mixed fortunes for Elphin representatives at the Scór Sinsear County Finals, which were held in Ballinameen last weekend.

Mick Rock won the Recitation competition and the Set Dancing team were also victorious but the club narrowly missed out on the Club of the Year Title. Despite scoring 43 points Elphin (21 ahead of our nearest rival Padraig Pearses), it was not enough to beat eventual winners St. Dominics who scored 46 points. This was Elphin’s highest total since the competition began and the club would like to thank all who participated and helped prepare teams this year. With your continued support 2010 might be our year!

The club has the honour of hosting the Scór Sinsear Connacht Finals in the Community Centre on Sunday March 29th. Hopefully there will be plenty of local support to cheer our two representatives to victory.
