We are continuing with our free text message service via TEAMER 51687 which we use to notify members regarding various club activities. If you wish to avail of this service, please text your name and number to Marc at 087 8362297. These messages are free to receive and a reply is not required. We currently have over 300 subscribers but would like to enhance it further to ensure all our supporters are aware of our activities and are notified when venues are changed or games cancelled etc

Scor Christmas party @ 730pm for all who participated this year on Thursday evening.
Mass
The Club mass is on Wednesday 14th at 8pm. All members, supporters, players, parents and the wider community are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served after the mass.

The Downs Senior Citizens Committee

St Stephens Day Charity Game
Following the success of last years charity game the organising committee are going ahead with a game this St Stephens day at 2.30 followed by entertainment in the hall. So all you golden oldies, greats of yesteryear and coaches dust off, shine up the boots and come along and show how its done.

Fundraising
The Ladies Football are collecting bags of clothes as a fundraiser, so you can now de- clutter and help the club raise funds. Bags are available from any team coach or committee member or in The Shop.
Medal Presentation
We had our medal presentation on Saturday evening with under 14,16 18 and junior teams receiving medals. Special guest presenting the medals was Ciaran McKeever vice captain of the Irish compromise rules team, Ciaran was kind enough to bring along the Cormac McAnallen Cup. We would like to thank Ciaran for his time and patience during and after the presentations. The other highlight of the evening was when Gillian Ferguson presented the Mary Quinn cup to the large attendance.
