Under 14s

Under 12s
The lads had a great day out in Navan on Sunday last. We travelled over early to play Navan O’Mahony’s in a mini blitz and played 4 x 11 aside games of terrific football.
Led by this weeks captains Oisin Murphy, Adam Smith, Liam Faulkner and Kevin O’Sullivan, the boys produced their best football of the season so far against the impressive home sides. Thanks to Tomas and colleagues at Navan O’Mahony’s for their hospitality and we hope to return the favour later in the year.
A pit-stop for food in the fine facilities of Trim GAA Club capped off a great day except of course for Westmeath’s narrow defeat to Louth.
In the league, we are away to Multyfarnham tonight Wednesday at 7pm – meet in Multyfarnham at 630pm.
We are also scheduled to play Ballynacargy in The Downs on this Saturday at 12pm – all fixtures will be confirmed by text as usual.Don’t forget Newry Blitz on Sat 2nd
 
Under 8s
The under eights travelled to Ballycomoyle for a blitz and enjoyed a number of games.

Defibrillator training and First Aid update
We are now providing a First Aid officer for our Friday evening coaching sessions. New volunteers are always welcome and the Friday evening slots are provided on a rota basis. Please contact Trudy @ 087 9890121 for more information a reminder that a Defibrillator is located at the clubhouse at the external wall of the entrance porch.
 
Under Age Registration
Registration remains open and can be completed during the next few underage coaching sessions.

Development Draw
Sellers are on the road again with the development draw tickets, we thank you for your past generosity and ask for your continued support for this years draw.  Two draws June and October with nineteen prizes in each draw. Tickets can be purchased through the website
 
Cul Camp
We are delighted to be hosting a Kelloggs Cúl Camp in August this year. The 5 day camp will begin on Monday August 13th and finish on Friday 17th August 2012. Applications can be made online or submitted to Westmeath Cúl Camp Co-Ordinator Noel Delaney in Cusack Park Mullingar. The Club Shop will be open during our weekly underage coaching sessions.

5K Run/Race
The Club are having a 5k fun run/race on Wednesday 13th of June as a fundraiser for underage boys and girls football. Come along and enjoy the evening make sure to bring friends and spread the word.

Fundraising For Feile 2012
Our Trad Music Night in The Downs Inn proved a great success and was enjoyed by the large crowd who came along. Thanks to all the musicians and dancers who performed  and to The Downs Inn who are sponsoring tracksuits for the Feile team.
 
Cake Sale
We are having a cake sale next  Friday at underage training all baking appreciated, contact any coach or committee member for details..
 
Clothes collection
The Ladies Football are collecting bags of clothes as a fundraiser, so you can now de- clutter and help the club raise funds. Bags of clothes can be left with any team coach or committee member or in The Shop. Please ask family, neighbours, friend and co-workers to fill a bag.
