We are continuing with our free text message service via TEAMER 51687 which we use to notify members regarding various club activities. If you wish to avail of this service, please text your name and number to Marc at 087 8362297. These messages are free to receive and a reply is not required. We currently have over 300 subscribers but would like to enhance it further to ensure all our supporters are aware of our activities and are notified when venues are changed or games cancelled etc

With underage training on a Friday evening now finished, The club shop will be opened as required.  Orders now being taken for Christmas, small quantities of all items in stock – gloves, gloves, wind cheaters, kit bags. contact Carmel at 087 9496347.
Senior Citizens Committee
The Downs Senior Citizens Committee are holding a Christmas Dinner Party at 2pm on 4th December in The Downs Gaa Centre.
On Sunday we participated in the Scor county final in Ballymore we were conpetiting in Figure Dancing (Niamh Rowan, Mary Lynam, Aisling Egerton, Amy Dagg, Aine Swaine, Rebecca Kelly, Lorraine Kelly, Serena Wynn), Solo Singing (Aisling Egerton) , Novelty Act (Niamh Rowan, Mary Lynam, Caoimhe Carthy, Clara Thornton, Dean Daly, Niall Mitchell, Darragh Carroll) and Set Dancing The Ladies Football  (Anna Fallon, Orlaith Murray, Ursula Carley, Aoife Carley, Clodagh Kelly, Emma Thompson, Conor Coughlan, Stephen Colgan) The Gaa (Niamh Rowan, Mary Lynam, Laura Wynne, Leanne Duncan, Cian Hanhoe, Jack Kennedy, Dylan Carroll, Conor Murray), unfortunately we didn’t  bring home the title in any of the events despite excellent performances. Well done to the competitors and to all the mentors for their efforts.
AGM on Saturday 3rd December  @ 7.30.

The Downs Ladies Football
The Ladies Football are collecting bags of clothes as a fundraiser, so you can now de- clutter and help the club raise funds. Bags are available from any team coach or committee member or in The Shop.
League Final
League Division 2 final is provisionally fixed for next weekend we will be meeting Clan Gael.
