Senior:
There is no
senior action now until the Leinster Club championship that is set for Nov 9th.
Kilteegan are the 2008 Wicklow Co Champions and await the winners of the Carlow
Co Final. Last Sunday, Palatine and EireOg finished all square and must replay
this weekend.
Off the field,
the Club has started setting its Monster Draw tickets. Tickets can be purchased
from any member of the executive however ticket teams will be calling around to
the local houses in the coming months. Tickets are also available to buy
on-line from our club website and details of the draw plus ways you can
purchase are available on the site.
Minor:
Hard luck to our
minor amalgamation Colmcille/Clonbroney who were narrowly beaten by Carrick
Sarsfields on Sunday last in the minor league shield semi final.
Colmcille Schoolboys had a good win over Ardagh in the Division One league
semi-final last week in a game that went to extra time. We wish them
the best of luck on this Wednesday 22nd when they play Fermoyle in
the final of this competition. This game will be played in Drumlish
at 7.30 p.m. Also our neighbours Bunlahy Schoolboys played against Cloontagh on
Monday last in the Division Four final and hopefully they had success in this
game.
We would like to
wish Gary Murtagh and Noel Farrell a speedy recovery from recent injuries
sustained and hopefully they will be fit and ready for their big game on
November 9th.
