The Senior team recorded their first league win of the season with a 4 point win over Longford Slashers on Friday evening last in Michael Fay Park. The game finished Longford Slashers 1-8 Colmcille 1-12.

The Div3 & 6 teams defeated St COlumba Div 5 team in a challenge game on Sunday last and we would like to thank them for the game.
The next Div 3 games is on Sunday next against Fr Manning Gaels.
GAA 125 Year Celebrations Invite
As
part of the nationwide celebration of 125 years of the G.A.A., a
special mass will be celebrated at St Colmcille Church at 11 o’clock on
May 10th followed afterwards by refreshments in the Community Center.
All people are welcome to attend. At Fr.Mc Gee Park there will then be
a day of fun for both young and old, which will include a novelty match
(Juniors V Seniors), a sports day for children, bouncy castles, etc.
The day will also give the opportunity to reminisce for all current and
past members of the Club and is open to all people in the community.

GFC invite all club and parish members past and present to attend this
special day of celebration, and if you know any people no longer living
in the area, please inform them about this special day of celebration
and invite them and their relatives to come along.

There will
be an optional entrance fee and a per-centage of the takings will be
presented to the Special Olympics Committee, Longford.
