Eight Colmcille players selected on the 2008 Team of the Championship

Our Club dominated the voting process for the 2008 Team of the Championship with no less than eight members of our successful side selected for the Longford version of the All-Star Awards.
Nominated by the readers of The Longford Leader, Gavin Tonra, Padraig Murtagh, Noel Farrell, Gary Murtagh, Francis Kavanagh, Declan C Reilly, Declan Farrell and Donie McKeon will be honoured at the annual Gala Awards night in the Longford Arms Hotel on Saturday December 13.

Supporters are invited to text vote their preferred player for the coveted ‘Players of the Championships’ titles. Revenues from the text lines will go to the fundraising appeal – once again the National Children’s Hospital in Tallaght – and the five winners will be announced at the gala awards night on December 13

We urge all supporters to send in a text vote for Declan Reilly who has been short listed for Senior Player of the Championship.

Check our club website for more details. Text number will soon appear on the club web site
