Club Notes Week ending Feb 15th

November 8, 2018

After the highs of the club dinner dance last saturday night week, it was time to knuckle down to get 2009 under way on the field of play as training got under way on Tue and Fri night last.
The club welcome Peter Bolger as Senior team trainer for 2009. Peter recently had success with Kilglass Gaels in Roscommon and will be assisted by selectors TJ Reilly (Dring) and Sean McGahern (Sonnagh). We wish them all the best for the coming year.

Anyone interested in playing for the club or becoming a member are more than welcome to join. The club caters for all ages with girls and boys (football) teams competing in a wide range of competitions. If you are interested, e-mail the club with your details and a club oficial will be in touch.

The senior club fixtures for 2009 were made on Monday night last in Pearse Park. The league and championships have taken on a new format for the next two years where league position will be based on championship standing. The senior and intermediate championships will be based on a group format and we have been drawn against our local rivals Dromard in Group 4. Full Draw Details are as follows.
