On Saturday evening last the senior team recorded a two point win over Fr Manning Gaels in Fr McGee Park. Final score was Colmcille 1-11 Fr Manning Gaels 0-10. The teams went in six points each at half time after the Gaels came back from being five points behind at one stage. However, a quick start to the second half saw Colmcille take another five point lead, including a well taken goal by Tommy Doyle. The Gales replied and narrowed the score to just one point, however a Tommy Doyle free at the finish made it a two point victory for the home side. We now move further up the league table after a draw and two wins so far this season.
