Colmcille GFC Notes

November 8, 2018

On Saturday, December 10th the senior club and ladies club will jointly host a dinner dance in the Breffni Arms Hotel, Arva. At the event the senior club will honour the 1986 Intermediate County Champions who, not only won the championship, but also returned the club to senior status where we have remained ever since. The ladies club will honour the team that won last year’s junior county championship, and Leinster league. The team that won this year’s intermediate championship will also be recognised. Afterwards there will be dancing to music from Aisling Wrynn and the Dance On Band. It promises to be a fantastic night with plenty of memories from 25 years ago and more recently. There are a small number of tickets still available from John Reilly, Myles Reilly, Marie O’Reilly Keenan, Áine Brady, Caroline Doyle and Ali McKeon. Tickets will also be on sale after the AGM next Sunday.
The club AGM will take place next Sunday, 4th December in the Community Centre at 5pm. Nomination papers are available by contacting John Reilly at secretary@colmcille.longford.gaa.ie. Completed papers must be returned to John no later than Friday evening.

Many thanks to all the players, Padraig Mulligan, Colin Dalton and Ciaran Farrelly and everyone who helped out for making the amalgamation a success. The final executive meeting before the AGM will take place in the club room at 9pm on Thursday. All please attend.
