Colmcille GFC Notes

November 8, 2018

The club lotto has reached a massive landmark in remaining intact to the €10,000 jackpot mark. This is indeed well worth winning while, at the same time, supporting the club. Envelopes will be on sale throughout the week from all the usual outlets and from any executive member. Yearly and half yearly lotto subscriptions are also available by contacting John Reilly. A €10,000 return for a €2 investment isn’t bad so be sure to be in with a chance of winning big.
There was no winner of the August 14th lotto draw. Numbers drawn were: 4, 10, 18 and 26. Lucky dip winners were Anne McNeill, Mary Kavanagh and Danny O’Toole.
The seniors booked their place in the championship semi-finals with a one point victory in the replay against Killoe Emmet Og. The final score was 0-13 to 1-09. The win sets up a match with Longford Slashers on Sunday 28th at 7.15pm in Pearse Park. Very best of luck to the team and management.
The U13 team take on Killoe Og in the league final in Maguire Park on Thursday 25th at 7.15pm. The U14 team take on Longford Slashers on Monday 22nd in McGee Park at 7.15pm and Killoe Og in the A Championship in Emmet Park on Friday 26th at 6.45pm. The minors take on St. Vincents in the A Championship on Tuesday 23rd in McGee Park at 7.15pm.
There are a limited number of senior replica jerseys available in child and adult sizes. The jerseys will be available in the park at 8pm.
Finally the club extends its sympathy to the McKeon family on the passing of Rose McKeon, Cornadrung.
