The Bank Holiday weekend is almost upon us and that means a great weekend of entertainment is in store around the Cross. “Colmcille’s Got Talent” on Saturday 23rd at 9.30pm will showcase the huge array of talent in our community. With a great variety of acts involved, it promises to have something for everyone. The chance to win some excellent prizes at the Bingo is on offer to everyone on Sunday 24th at 4.30pm and The Dance On Band will take to the stage in the marquee at 11pm to wrap up a fantastic weekend’s entertainment. Looking forward to seeing you all around the marquee on Saturday and Sunday.
As well as the marquee entertainment we have a Leader Cup Quarter Final to look forward to on Sunday 24th. The lads will play Carrickedmond in Fr. Mc Gee Park. Please check fixtures for the throw in time. We wish the team the very best of luck for the match.
Commiserations to the ladies team who were defeated by Mostrim in their league final last weekend. We congratulate the team and their mentors for their huge success in reaching the league final and the Leinster semi final. These huge achievements are a credit to all the work being done by the ladies club.
