Colmcille GFC notes

November 8, 2018

Community Games take place next Sunday in Fr. Mc Gee Park at 3pm. All support will be greatly appreciated.

We would like to wish the very best of luck to Paul Mc Keon, who is travelling to the U.S.A. for the summer to work and play football. He’ll be missed around Aughnacliffe and on the playing field but we hope he enjoys his time in the U.S.A.

We again ask the community to continue to support the Club Lotto. There has been a great response since the envelopes were distributed to all the homes in the parish and we appeal to everyone to keep up the good work. Envelopes can be completed and dropped into the collection points in local shops and pubs. Alternatively you can give completed envelopes to any executive member. Anyone wishing to purchase a yearly lotto card can also contact any executive member. Once again we thank you for your continued support.

Our Division 6 team took on Shroid on Friday evening in Fr. Mc Gee Park. Despite a spirited performance, however, we were defeated.

There was no winner of the May 9th Lotto Draw (13, 18, 25, 30) of €3700. Lucky Dip winners were Team 5, Dermot & Fiona Murphy, Mary & Phil Brady, Shane Smith. Seller: Team 5.

Next week’s lotto draw (23rd May) takes place in Dolan’s and team 1 are on duty: Gabriel Macken, Barry Kennedy and Declan Reilly (Smear)
