Colmcille GFC Notes

A special mass will be celebrated Bishop Colm O’Reilly in the church in Aughnacliffe next Saturday 3rd March at 7.30pm. All are most welcome to attend. Afterwards Colmcille’s Come Dine With Me will take place in the Community Centre. There are tables still available. The idea being that whoever takes a table will invite ten people to attend at €20 per person. The host will then prepare a starter and dessert while the main course will be provided on the night. Anyone interested in taking a table should contact John Reilly at 085-7322857. This will be a very special occasion and we look forward to seeing the community on the night.
Congratulations to the U12 school boys and minors who received their medals from Dublin’s Michael Dara Macauley. Thanks to Michael for bringing the Sam Maguire cup along and making the occasion a memorable one. Thanks to all those who worked behind the scenes to make the event possible and to the school staff for hosting the event.

Club membership of €30 is now due and should be paid by 1st March.
There was no winner of the Feb 19th lotto draw. Numbers drawn were 2, 12, 22 and 26. €25 winners were: James and Mary Mulligan, Sean Doherty, Martin O’Reilly and Paddy Dowling. The jackpot is now €3,100. Envelopes are available at all usual outlets. Yearly or half yearly subscriptions are also available. Contact any executive member for details.
