On Saturday 20th Feb the club held a very successful function in Murtagh’s Lounge to present the Player of The Year award to Paul McKeon. We also presented the Club Person of The Year award to the Reilly Family and Nellie Gormley for their tireless efforts in selling lotto envelopes every week. Their commitment week after week is a vital source of funds for the club and we wish to extend our gratitude to them once again.
Myles Reilly was M/C for the night, a task he completed with the usual ease and humour. Vice Chairperson Marie O’Reilly Keenan made the presentations on behalf of the club.
A buffet for the lotto teams was also held as part of the function to show appreciation for their work selling lotto envelopes throughout the year. Again, the lotto is an important source of income for the club so we wish to thank all the teams for their time and effort.
The club would like to extend sympathy to our Chairperson, John Reilly on the death of his uncle Johnny Reilly.
There was no winner of the February 14th Lotto Draw (8, 20, 25, 26) of €2600. Lucky Dip winners were Ciaran Reilly, Smear, Gerry Shannon, Melview, Peggy McLoughlin and Ciaran McKeon, Pulladoey.
Next week’s lotto draw (28th Feb) takes place in Dolan’s and team 2 are on duty: Kieran Mc Cabe, Francie Mulligan, Ollie Walsh and Philip Mc Gahern.
